Hello and welcome to the sale of this stunning Defender. 2016 was the very last of the line for these iconic vehicles, and these late registered vehicles have become increasingly collectible and sought after.

As with many of these vehicles at the time, this particular vehicle was bought brand new by a business, and mothballed for the first 3 years of it's life, covering just 14 miles until it's first MOT in 2019! After this point the vehicle has been used very sparingly up to around 20k miles, before falling into the hands of a Land Rover enthusiast who acquired the vehicle as an investment and it has been kept as part of a collection in a heated storage facility, covering just a handful of miles the last couple of years, but serviced annually regardless of the low distance covered. Due to it also again being bought through a business, the vehicle still remains a VAT Qualifying car, so the price is inclusive of VAT and potentially claimable depending on your global location and / or business circumstances (Export enquiries welcome). There are just 2 registered keepers in total on the logbook.

Not only is this one of the last Defenders, it is also the top of the range 'Landmark' edition, which brought all the desirable extras together including alcantara headlining, full leather trim with heated high back front seats, electric front windows, central locking, air con, premium Alpine sound system with subwoofer, remote locking, leather steering wheel, heated front screen and much more. All 7 seats are forward facing with 3 point seatbelts, and the rear 2 rows split and fold making it a very versatile station wagon. Overall the interior is in superb order- fresh, dry and clean with minimal wear with no bad odours. It comes with its original book pack, 2 factory keys and 2 remote fobs.

The beautiful and hard to find Yulong white metallic paintwork is in fantastic condition, with gloss black wheel arches and roof adding a great contrast. It really does catch a fantastic shine when the sunlight hits it! There are a few very tiny light marks here and there as you would expect, but overall this is not your average beat up workhorse! The full set of 5x genuine Land Rover diamond cut 5 spoke alloys are in perfect order, and shod with excellent Goodyear Mud terrain tyres.

The car starts, runs and drives exactly as it should and without fault. The 2.2 turbo diesel engine provides ample pulling power through the 6 speed manual gearbox. On the road it feels as tight as an old Defender can be with just 20k miles on the clock, there are no untoward knocks or bangs, and it pulls up square under braking. It will also be serviced as required upon sale and a fresh MOT provided.

To sum up this is a very attractive, desirable, low mileage and high spec example of the iconic Land Rover Defender, with the added potential bonus of being VAT Qualifying, and I am sure the new owner will be very pleased to have it as a fantastic country family car or collectors item.
